Our Returns Policy
We aim to provide total customer satisfaction even if things go wrong, our return polices are detailed below along with the minimum legal requirements that all websites should offer. Please follow the instructions below when returning items.
Before you return any goods, please E-mail or phone to obtain a returns number, this will help us process your return more efficiently and speed up the time taken to issue a refund or replacement. E-mail and phone numbers can be found on our Contact Us page.
Please read carefully the information below before returning goods.
All returned items should be accompanied by the original receipt or invoice number and should be in original packaging if possible.
DSR Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods (UK and EU only). To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to us by letter, fax or e-mail giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient. If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been despatched to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods at your own cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. Orders cancelled under the DSR must be credited to you within 30 days. Please see our conditions of use for full details.
You are allowed to open the goods to examine them, but are not allowed to use them. You are responsible for returning the goods in a saleable condition; failure to do so will result in a surcharge being applied to your refund.
We will not accept the following items for return under the DSR:-
- Any software that has been opened, or where a security seal, COA, or license has been tampered with, damaged or used.
- Any goods that have been personalised in nature, or any goods where design work has been done on your behalf such as logos, stationary or websites.
- Any consumable products where protective foil or plastic packaging designed to maintain the shelf-life of the product has been opened.
- Any item which as been used, damaged or is returned in a condition which makes it unfit to sell.
- Goods paid for online but subsequently collected from us, if you intend to reject such goods you must do so at point of collection.
14 Day 'No Quibble' Refund
Our version of the DSR is exactly the same as that above other than we give you 14 days to inspect the goods and promise to issue your credit within 7 working days of receiving goods back. All other conditions of the DSR remain unchanged.
If an item was ordered for you and is not a normal stock item a handling fee of 15% will be charged.
Faulty Goods - If an item is faulty then we will either replace, refund or repair the item (within a reasonable time), depending on type and age of the item and nature of fault, normally we will ask that you return the item to us and we will refund your postage costs if the item is less than 60 days old. The exceptions being items where the warranty is with the manufacturer, such as printers and monitors which would normally be swapped on site, and computer systems and notebooks where the warranty specifies Return to Base.
Our Version - We will give a full refund of any item found to be faulty within the first 60 days if you prefer this to a replacement item.
We will refund the postage costs of any items which are found to be faulty and returned during their warranty period (even on items with Lifetime Warranties).
Where an item has to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection or repair we will ensure that it is returned within 21 days of receipt or a replacement will be issued at no extra cost to you.
Please enclose your name and address with all returns and write the returns number clearly on the outside of the packaging. Please ensure that all returns are securely packaged. For your protection, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service. We will not be held liable for returned items that are damaged or lost in the post.
